The George Loomis House




The Loomis House is filled with ornate 1880's brasswork, including door hinges, knobs, plates and locks, and window locks and pulls. While clearly not part of the original 1850's construction, they're an important part of the history of the house. Hard to believe that people could paint over this stuff. Here are some examples:
